Children & Young People’s Wellbeing Service 

This service can be funded by local primary, secondary schools or colleges, and offers children and young people opportunities to:

  • Improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • Learn healthy coping skills
  • Develop confidence, resilience, strength and independence

Services can include:

  • Information, advice and signposting
  • One to one support sessions
  • Wellbeing-focused activities which can include art & craft, mindfulness, relaxation
  • Crisis /wellbeing drop-in sessions
  • Peer support and social groups
  • Group work on a range of topics.

Some examples include: mental health awareness, managing anger, low mood, anxiety, and exam stress
