Volunteering
People volunteer for many different reasons. It can offer the chance to give back to a community or service, it can also be to provide an opportunity to develop new skills. Whatever your motivation is it is likely you are looking for an opportunity that is both challenging and rewarding. We regularly have a number of volunteering opportunities, some will require weekly hours, others may only be a one time event; read through our available opportunities and contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator ([email protected]) if you have any queries.
To let you know a little more about our opportunities and our Volunteering Team we have asked our volunteers why they volunteer with us and what they get from the experience. Here are some of their answers:

- Making a difference to the lives of others
- Being part of a team and feeling valued
- Gaining confidence and self-esteem
- Develop new skills, knowledge and experiences
- Building experience for a CV or application
- Meeting new people
- Getting to know the local community and supporting wellbeing provision
