Wellbeing Service

Through our service we provide a range of support, guidance, information and signposting. This includes:

  • Information, advice and signposting
  • One to one support
  • Peer support and activity groups
  • Recovery focused workshops and courses
  • Peer led support and social groups

To promote wellbeing we offer opportunities to: increase emotional skills, improve practical living skills, build self-confidence, become stronger, more self-reliant and resilient. To improve physical and mental wellbeing, improve social networks and we promote peer support (initially through our services and then in the wider community).

We deliver a range of workshops, these currently include:

  • Introduction to Healthy Relationships
  • Understanding Depression
  • Building Self-esteem
  • Anxiety Management
  • Stress Management
  • Grief and Loss
  • Energiser
  • Wellbeing
  • Managing Post Covid

Our peer support activities currently include:

  • Arts and Crafts Group
  • Coffee and Chat Group
  • LGBTIQ+ Chat Group
  • Mindfulness Group
  • Women’s Groups

Our provision also includes 6 week courses, which we currently offer for:

  • Assertiveness
  • Anger Management
  • Everyday Mindfulness
  • Journaling
  • Positive Thinking for Wellbeing

If you are interested in finding out more about our services contact our Adult Wellbeing Team on 02392 498916 between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, you can complete our self referral form and our Wellbeing Team will then contact you to follow up on your self referral.
