Time to Talk Day 2024

Havant and East Hampshire Mind is proud to announce its active participation in Time to Talk Day, dedicated to sparking conversations about mental health. This year, Havant and East Hampshire Mind is set to host interactive stands across Hampshire to promote awareness, engage the local community, and highlight the vital free services offered to support mental wellbeing.

We have multiple stands across Havant & East Hampshire for you to come and visit:

Tesco, Havant

Spark Community Space, Portsmouth

Asda, Waterlooville

Taro Leisure Centre, Petersfield

Time to Talk Day, taking place on Thursday 1st February, presents an opportunity for individuals, communities, and organisations to come together and break the stigma around mental health. Our stands will showcase the range of services available to the local community, educational resources and promote conversations.

Members of staff from adult wellbeing, workplace, training and the community team are looking forward to being out and about in the local community. We hope to encourage conversations about mental health and raise awareness of the local free to access wellbeing and crisis services we offer.” Lorna, Sports Engagement and Community Fundraising Officer, HEH Mind

The aspiration of participation in Time to Talk Day is to normalise conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and encourage everyone to take proactive steps towards better mental wellbeing, making Hampshire a more mentally healthy community.

Talking about mental health isn’t always easy and sometimes it’s even harder to say how you really feel. But a conversation really does have the power to change lives.
