Suicide prevention

We have three suicide prevention courses

1. For senior leadership, being more aware of suicide and how organisations setting tone direction, planning to deal with the impact of suicide on an organisation
2. Suicide prevention for staff
3. Suicide prevention for staff in organisations/ business supporting vulnerable clients

This is designed for business or organisations/ agencies, GP’s surgery staff etc supporting vulnerable clients (adults or children) who are exposed to difficult circumstances, debt and have complex needs.

Though framed differently depending on your workplace and client group both courses inform staff about the background statistics of suicide and self-harm and who is affected by it. Potential causes or risk factors of suicidal thoughts and behaviour are discussed. We also cover how to spot potential worrying signs, how to support someone and keep them safe. Finally keeping yourself well and safe.
