Community Fundraising

Support mental health in your community — your way

Whether you’re running a marathon, hosting a quiz night, or doing something completely unique, fundraising for Havant and East Hants Mind (HEH Mind) is a powerful way to promote positive mental health and ensure local people can access the help they need.

Every fundraiser, no matter how big or small, plays a crucial role in keeping our free mental health wellbeing and crisis services running, and we’re here to support your fundraising every step of the way.

Why Fundraise for HEH Mind?

Fundraising for HEH Mind is more than a challenge or a fun event — it’s a meaningful act that helps change lives.

  • Make a Local Impact
Your fundraising directly supports children, young people, and adults in South and East Hampshire, helping us provide free, life-changing support where it’s needed most.
  • Raise Awareness
Mental health is still surrounded by stigma. By fundraising, you help start conversations, raise awareness, and encourage others to seek support.
  • Do Something Positive
Fundraising is a great way to give back, boost your own wellbeing, and bring your community together around a vital cause.

Ways to Fundraise

There are so many ways to get involved; from solo efforts to team events and community activities. However you choose to help, we’ll provide resources, guidance, and support to help you succeed.

  • Take On a Personal Challenge

Walk, run, cycle, swim, or set your own challenge! Whether you’re doing 5K a day or tackling a major milestone like a marathon, fundraising through physical activity is a great way to raise money and awareness.

  • Host a Community Event

From coffee mornings to bake sales, open mic nights to quiz nights; bring your friends, family, or neighbourhood together for a fun and meaningful event. You can even tie it into a birthday or special occasion.

  • Get Creative with Fundraising Ideas

Shave your head, give something up, livestream a gaming session, or try something no one’s ever done before. The more personal or creative your fundraiser, the more likely people are to get behind it.

  • Join a HEH Mind Event

Take part in one of our organised fundraising events, like the annual Mental Elf Fun Run, Comedy Night, or Football Fundraising Tournament. These are great ways to meet like-minded people and support mental health as part of a community.

  • Fundraise at School, College, or Uni

Young fundraisers are some of our biggest champions! Whether you’re planning a non-uniform day, bake sale, or student challenge, we’re here to support youth-led fundraising that makes a real difference.
