The rules for wearing masks have this week been relaxed for those of us in England. But it's still important to do what we can to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
We will all have different reactions to this change, but remember that:
- Not everyone can wear a mask - Not everyone is fully vaccinated - We all feel differently about this change - Some of us are still not comfortable to not wear masks
Remember to be kind and considerate towards others, and to not judge. We do not know why someone feels the way they do, or what they have experienced over the last 18 months.
If you are not sure how someone feels consider some of these questions to find out more.
- Would you like me to wear a mask? - Is it ok if I take my mask off? - Shall we spread out a little? - Shall we open the window? - Is it ok if I leave the door open? - Would you like some hand sanitiser?
