Independent Advocacy (IMHA)
Havant East Hants Mind offer Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) which ensures people who are sectioned under the Mental Health Act have access to an advocate who can both support them and explain what rights they have.
Support Time and Recovery Worker
Referrals are taken for this service which provides one to one support to enable people to achieve their goals and work towards recovery.
Independent Advocacy General
Independent advocacy offers a free and confidential service, supporting people to express their views and wishes and to obtain information and accurate advice. The service provides support for meetings and appointments and works towards resolving conflict.
Debt and benefit advice
This service provides support, information and advice for those service users unable to access mainstream advice services. We provide debt advice which offers support to produce budget sheet, liaise and correspond with creditors and to negotiate affordable payments. We offer benefit checks to ensure that all entitlements are claimed and support to make claims.
Training
Mind Aware produces a range of training for agencies and business to provide knowledge of mental distress and to support mental wellbeing. Each course is tailor made to fit the needs of the agency and we aim to accommodate individual needs for training for both one off sessions and for courses.
