Need some support to deal with problems?
A free independent service for mental health service users
An advocate is an independent worker whose role is to represent the views and rights of their client, providing:
- a confidential service
- working for you
- working with you
- supporting you to express your views and concern
- to access information and services
- defending and promoting rights and responsibilities
- exploring choices
- support during hospital stays and during community treatment
Within the advocacy service we have specialist who are trained to deal with debt issues and benefit advice. This part of the service is available to clients whose mental health problems prohibit them accessing main stream help and advice.
